Aperçu du projet Pêches et Océans Canada (MPO) entreprend des travaux de modernisation du service électrique à l’écloserie de la rivière Kitimat, située à Kitimat, en Colombie Britannique. Les travaux portent sur des modifications au transformateur et au service électrique, à la suite de la réalisation des travaux de modernisation du réseau aérien principal par BC Hydro. L’écloserie demeurera opérationnelle pendant toute la durée du projet. 2. Portée générale des travaux prévus La portée des travaux anticipés comprendra notamment, sans s’y limiter, ce qui suit : • Excavation d’une tranchée pour le service électrique basse tension à l’aide de la méthode d’hydro excavation, incluant la coupe et la remise en état des surfaces asphaltées existantes ; • Travaux de modernisation électrique basse tension, incluant le raccordement des nouveaux conducteurs du service secondaire de BC Hydro au moyen des conduits existants ; • Coordination de l’arrêt du service primaire existant de BC Hydro et de la mise sous tension du nouveau service secondaire.
