This appears to be an open PSPC procurement for the RCMP patrol vessel Higgitt. The work involves drydocking, repair and refit activities, plus possible unscheduled work authorized by the contracting authority. Key dates: -Work start: January 6, 2027 -Work completion: April 14, 2027 -Bid closing: November 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. (time zone should be confirmed in the official notice) The solicitation indicates that bidders must have sufficient personnel, materials and capacity to complete the scheduled work and handle a reasonable amount of additional authorized work. An optional bidders’ conference and site visit may be available; the instructions in Part 2 should be reviewed for registration requirements and deadlines. The procurement appears to be limited to suppliers located in Western Canada, identified as the vessel’s Area of Origin, under PSPC shipbuilding, repair, refit and modernization procedures. It is also subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement. The listing shows British Columbia and Gatineau, Quebec, but the precise work location and any supplier-location requirements should be confirmed in the bid documents. This opportunity may be relevant to Canadian marine repair, shipyard, drydock and vessel-refit businesses with the required facilities, workforce and scheduling capacity. This summary does not confirm eligibility or compliance. Review the complete solicitation, Statement of Work, Annex A, mandatory requirements, security or insurance provisions, conference/site-visit details and submission instructions before deciding whether to bid.Official notice: https://portal.us.bn.cloud.ariba.com/dashboard/public/appext/comsapsbncdiscoveryui#/Rfx Event/preview/1110028486?an Id=ANONYMOUS
