Parks Canada is seeking suppliers for a Supply Arrangement covering exhibit-related services at its national historic sites, national parks, national park reserves, urban national parks and national marine conservation areas. Services may be provided as a complete turnkey package or individually, including project management, exhibit and graphic design, content development, writing, fabrication and installation.
This is a pre-qualification arrangement rather than a single project. Suppliers that are accepted may later be invited to compete for specific contracts. The arrangement appears to support work across Canada, including the listed provinces and territories, the National Capital Region and some locations outside Canada. Requirements in areas covered by comprehensive land claims agreements may have additional conditions. Nunavut requirements are excluded from this arrangement and would be procured separately.
There are two streams:
-General Stream: for suppliers able to serve one or more Canadian regions, or potentially Canada-wide.
- Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB)Stream: for suppliers that can certify they meet the applicable PSIB definition. PSIB suppliers may also submit for General Stream opportunities.
The notice states that resulting contracts may have a maximum limitation of expenditure of $3,749,999.99, including applicable taxes and fees. An ongoing qualification process is available, so new suppliers may be able to apply after the initial posting, subject to the official requirements and applicable deadlines.
Important submission instructions:
- Parks Canada states that bids are not currently accepted through SAP Ariba.
- Responses must be sent by fax or email as specified in the solicitation documents. The stated acceptable email address is [email protected].
- In-person or courier submissions will not be accepted.
- Email attachments must be used; links to documents will not be accepted.
- The stated maximum email size is 15 MB. If multiple emails are needed, they should be clearly labelled and identify the solicitation, project and total number of emails.
The tender record shows a closing date of December 31, 2100, which may indicate an ongoing arrangement or a data-entry/system date rather than a normal bid deadline. Businesses should not rely on that date without checking the official notice and all amendments. Review the RFSA, technical evaluation document and amendments carefully for mandatory qualifications, regional coverage, Indigenous-business certification requirements, submission forms and the current qualification process before submitting an arrangement. This opportunity appears potentially relevant to exhibit-production firms, museums and cultural-content specialists, designers, writers, fabricators, installers and firms that can assemble multidisciplinary teams, but eligibility and compliance must be verified against the official documents.
