DFO appears to be seeking suppliers for a multi-year Supply Arrangement covering salmon monitoring and biological support in coastal British Columbia. Work would be requested on an “as and when needed” basis, with ceiling rates established in the arrangement and possible downward negotiation for individual assignments. The work is in the South Coast of British Columbia, although the notice also references administration across Canada and Ottawa. There are two procurement streams: •PSIB Stream: reserved for eligible Indigenous businesses, including First Nations, Tribal Councils, First Nation-owned businesses and other Indigenous businesses. •General Stream: open to suppliers, including Indigenous suppliers, bidding outside the PSIB stream. The notice indicates that there is no security requirement for the Supply Arrangement. It is described as an ongoing qualification opportunity, meaning additional suppliers may be able to qualify during the arrangement period. Evaluation may occur in cycles at least twice per year.
