DFO’s Canadian Hydrographic Service is seeking pre-qualified suppliers for a five-year Supply Arrangement covering hydrographic and bathymetric services. The arrangement appears relevant to organizations with expertise in one or more of four service streams: (1) hydrographic/bathymetric training, (2) navigational charting support and production, (3) bathymetric data assessment and processing, and (4) hydrographic/bathymetric consulting. Work would be assigned on an as-needed basis rather than guaranteed through one immediate contract. The arrangement is proposed to run from issuance until December 31, 2029, and the notice is listed as open until June 30, 2029, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. This notice cancels and replaces solicitation 30004518 dated August 29, 2024; submissions under the earlier solicitation are no longer accepted. Security requirements apply, so personnel and organizational screening may be necessary. The arrangement is intended for work across Canada, but certain locations covered by Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements—including areas in Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Quebec, and Labrador—are excluded and would require separate procurement processes. Potentially interested businesses should review the full RFSA and refresh documents for mandatory qualifications, technical requirements, experience, security clauses, submission instructions, and any applicable certification requirements. The official notice and documents should be checked on Canada Buysbefore preparing or submitting a response: https://canadabuys.canada.ca/sites/default/files/webform/tender_notice/65770/30004518a---rfsa.pdf and https://canadabuys.canada.ca/sites/default/files/webform/tender_notice/65770/30004518a---rfsa-refresh--june-2026.pdf. This summary does not confirm that any particular business qualifies; all details must be verified against the official tender notice.
