Users must verify tender notices, amendments, eligibility, deadlines, and submission instructions at the official source before bidding.
Who We Are
BidMaple is a private SaaS product that helps businesses search, understand, track, and prepare for public tender opportunities. BidMaple is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Government of Canada or any public buyer.
Information We Collect
We collect account information, company profile details, services and service areas, saved opportunities, bid checklist progress, alert preferences, support requests, billing identifiers from Stripe, and product usage events needed to operate and secure the service.
Company Profile Data
Company profile data is used to match tenders, create fit signals, generate bid-preparation checklists, and personalize alerts. Users should not enter sensitive personal information into company profile, tender notes, or checklist fields unless it is necessary for their procurement workflow.
AI Processing
BidMaple may send tender text and relevant company profile fields to AI providers to generate summaries, requirement extraction, checklist drafts, and cautious match explanations. BidMaple instructs AI systems not to invent unsupported facts or state that a user qualifies. Users must verify final bid requirements with the official notice.
Service Providers
We use service providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, error monitoring, and AI processing. These providers process data only to help us provide, secure, and improve BidMaple.
Payment Data
Stripe processes payment details. BidMaple stores Stripe customer, subscription, and price identifiers, but does not store full card numbers.
Retention
We keep account and company profile data while the account is active. Users can export account data and request deletion from settings. Some billing, security, backup, and legal records may be retained as required for legitimate business, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.
Canadian Privacy Rights
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information. We will respond in a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify identity before acting on requests.
Contact
Privacy questions can be sent through the support form or to [email protected]. This policy should be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.
