Public Safety Canada is seeking a contractor for “Megaweek 2027,” a three-day conference for up to 500 participants in the National Capital Region, Ottawa, Ontario. The potential contractor would need to provide a suitable venue, hospitality and catering-related services, complete audio-visual services, event setup and testing, onsite support, and teardown. The conference may include plenary and breakout sessions, VIP activities, partner showcases, networking, side meetings, and an evening reception on the first day. The preferred dates are three consecutive weekdays during the week of February 22, 2027. Bidders may propose other three-consecutive-weekday options in February 2027, except February 15, 2027, which is Family Day. Public Safety Canada will choose the event dates based on its operational requirements from the options proposed by responsive bidders. For responsive bids, the intended award recommendation will generally be based on the lowest evaluated combined price for meeting space and hospitality services for the selected dates. If there is a tie, the bid with the lower evaluated meeting-space cost is expected to prevail. The tender is listed as open and closes November 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The notice indicates that the exact service requirements, specifications, submission instructions, mandatory conditions, and evaluation details are contained in the official solicitation documents. This opportunity appears potentially relevant to conference venues, hotels, event-management firms, catering providers, and audio-visual service companies, including businesses that can deliver these services directly or through permitted arrangements. Before deciding whether to bid, review the complete official documents and confirm the venue, capacity, room configurations, hospitality, AV, staffing, accessibility, security, insurance, pricing, and submission requirements.
