Public summary

Generated or condensed from imported source text. Verify before bidding.

This open PSPC opportunity appears to seek contractors for remediation construction at contaminated sites in remote parts of Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon. It is a Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA), not a single construction contract. Successful applicants may be included in a supplier pool and could later be invited to bid on selective RFPs for specific projects. Responses appear to be accepted on an ongoing basis and evaluated when received. The listed closing date may not reflect the actual response process; the notice says to disregard the earlier February 28, 2025 closing time. The tender record shows May 31, 2030 at 2:00 p.m. as the current closing date, but this should be confirmed in the official notice and procurement portal. This opportunity may be relevant to Canadian businesses with experience in contaminated-site remediation, construction, environmental work, and operating in remote northern locations. Potential requirements could include substantial logistics, specialized equipment, safety procedures, environmental compliance, and the ability to work in Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and Yukon, but the available summary does not provide the full qualification criteria. Existing suppliers that already hold a supply arrangement reportedly do not need to submit a new arrangement. Before responding, review the complete RFSA, amendments, submission instructions, mandatory requirements, insurance and bonding provisions, security obligations, Indigenous or local participation requirements, and any technical qualifications in the official PSPC/Ariba notice. This summary does not confirm that any particular business qualifies, and all details should be verified before submission.

AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: This Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) has an ongoing opportunity for qualification that allows suppliers to submit their responses at a time of their convenience. PSPC will evaluate responses upon receipt. As such, please disregard the closing time of February 28, 2025 in the Ariba Discovery and Canada Buys postings. This RFSA aims to establish multiple supply arrangements for remediation construction services at northern contaminated sites projects in various remote locations in Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon Territory. PSPC will selectively tender future Requests for Proposal (RFPs) among this pool of successful supply arrangement holders. There is no maximum number of supply arrangements that may be issued as a result of this RFSA. Existing qualified suppliers, who have already been issued a supply arrangement, will not be required to submit a new arrangement.
