RFI - Wild Fire Sat Global

This is an open Request for Information (RFI), not necessarily a contract opportunity or call for bids. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), on behalf of the Canadian Space Agency, is seeking industry input to help plan, define, and implement the Wild Fire Sat–Global mission through project Phases B, C, and D. The proposed mission would expand Wild Fire Sat from a Canada-focused initiative to global monitoring of wildfire activity across the world’s vegetated land areas. The RFI may be potentially relevant to businesses involved in satellite systems, aerospace, Earth observation, wildfire monitoring, remote sensing, data or analytics services, and related technical or implementation work; the official documents should be reviewed to confirm the specific areas of interest. The RFI currently shows a closing deadline of October 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EDT. Late submissions will not be accepted. A virtual industry information session is listed for June 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. EDT. Responses, questions, and amendments are to be handled through the SAP Business Network event.
