The administration, operations and maintenance of all of the airport premises and facilities owned by Transport Canada, namely: (i) Runways, taxiways, aprons; (ii) The access roads and the parking area; (iii) Buildings (air terminal building, maintenance garage, warehouse); (iv) Heavy equipment vehicles and other tools and equipment; (v) Various mechanical (plumbing, ventilation, heating, etc.) and electrical systems. (vi) Public parking Lots 2. Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and all other regulations applicable to the airport site. 3. Be responsible for the safety and security on the airport site. 4. Work in collaboration with Transport Canada in the application of the Safety Management System (SMS). 5. Work in collaboration with Transport Canada to achieve its goals (transportation system that is safe and secure, efficient, and environmentally responsible).Period of the Contract: The period of the Contract is from April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028 with the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year period under the agreed upon prices and same terms and conditions.Mandatory Site Visit: A mandatory site visit will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Atlantic Daylight Time (ADT), at the Îles-de-la-Madeleine Airport, at 210 Chemin de l’Aéroport, in Îles-de-la-Madeleine (Quebec). It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the scope of work. All potential bidders should become familiar with the site before tendering. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. The Contractor shall not be entitled to payment in respect of costs incurred for the site visit.
