Visitor Reception Centre –Front Entrance Improvements: A contractor will undertake upgrades to the main entrance pathways, including pouring concrete, hardscape and softscape enhancements, and new landscape plantings. The scope also includes installation of exterior electrical lighting, water conveyance and a new automatic arm gate to improve drainage, visitor flow, accessibility, and site safety. Big House – Drainage and Water Management Improvements: At the historic Big House, the contractor will install new eavestroughs and downspouts to improve roof water conveyance. Additional work will address drainage issues at the rear of the building through the installation of a concrete pad with drains and other land drainage infrastructure. These interventions are intended to mitigate water infiltration risks and support long term preservation of the structure and surrounding grounds. The work must be substantially completed by March 31, 2027, and all work must be completed by June 30, 2027.
