Department of Public Works and Government Services (PSPC) - *Alberta *Calgary, *Alberta, Calgary, AB
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is seeking expressions of interest from parties that may be able to provide warehouse or combined warehouse/office space in Calgary, Alberta. This is an information-gathering opportunity for a potential lease, not necessarily a contract award or final bid invitation. Key requirements appear to include: - Approximately 280–550 usable square metres of contiguous space. - An initial lease term of about three years, expected to begin around January 1, 2027, with two possible one-year extensions. - One parking space associated with the premises, plus approximately 14 public parking spaces within one block. - Two separate washrooms outside the tenant’s usable area. - Basic utilities, including telecommunications, water, sewer, gas and 200-amp electrical service. - Heating, or the ability to heat the space to at least 20°C. - Minimum unobstructed warehouse ceiling height of 3.05 metres. - An overhead loading door of at least 2.44 m by 2.44 m, along with a pedestrian entrance. - Capacity for an additional water supply for a janitor’s sink or drinking fountain. - Building systems able to support occasional occupancy of up to 30 people and typical occupancy of up to 20 people for a full day. - A location and surrounding environment compatible with the intended use. The location must fall within the detailed Calgary boundaries set out in the notice, generally covering areas bounded by 144 Avenue, Stoney Trail, the railway line/50 Avenue SE, Glenmore Trail and Crowchild/Sarcee Trail. The written boundary description takes precedence over any map if there is a discrepancy. The space must meet PSPC’s Standards for Leased Accommodation by the lease commencement date. PSPC may inspect proposed premises and may conduct a threat and risk assessment. The EOI is listed as open and closes October 1, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The requirements, submission instructions, contact information and any applicable forms should be confirmed in the official notice and attached PDF before responding. A property owner or leasing representative with a potentially matching Calgary facility may wish to review the complete notice and verify every technical, location and documentation requirement before submitting an expression of interest.Official document: https://canadabuys.canada.ca/sites/default/files/webform/tender_notice/105066/20260727-canadabuys---en-133930.pdf
